How long does it take to receive my order?

All orders ship within 5 to 7 business days from our Atlanta studio. Once your jewelry is complete, standard shipping takes 1 to 3 business days after your piece ships. You'll receive tracking information via email. Need it sooner? We offer express UPS shipping with tracking for a flat $20 fee. Email us at hello@hopeandraye.com to arrange rush delivery. Shipping is currently available to US addresses only.
Does the jewelry come gift wrapped?

Yes! Every order automatically arrives beautifully gift-ready at no extra charge. Your jewelry comes in our signature blue velvet pouch with branding, nestled in a pull-out ribbon box with gold foil logo, wrapped with tissue paper and ribbon. We also include a polishing cloth. Want to add a personal message? You can include a custom note at checkout and we'll add it to a card for you. It's ready to give with no additional wrapping needed.
What is the difference between gold-filled and gold-plated jewelry?

Gold-filled jewelry (what we use) has a thick layer of real gold permanently bonded to a base metal through heat and pressure. It makes up at least 5% of the total weight and lasts for decades without tarnishing, fading, or turning your skin green. Gold-plated jewelry has only a microscopic coating of gold applied through electroplating that wears off quickly, usually within 6 to 12 months of regular wear. Gold-filled is much more durable, valuable, and hypoallergenic than gold-plated, which is why we only use 14K and 18K gold-filled materials in our handcrafted pieces.
Are your gemstones real or synthetic?

All HOPE & RAYE's gemstones are 100% genuine, natural semi-precious gemstones, meaning they formed in the earth over millions of years. We never use synthetic or lab-created stones unless specifically noted in the product description. Some of our gemstones are rare and only found in certain portions of the world, like Peru and Ethiopia. Each stone is hand-picked by our designer from ethically sourced vendors that the owner personally selects. Every natural gemstone has unique variations in color, pattern, and clarity, making your jewelry truly one-of-a-kind. Your piece will look very similar to what you see online, but each stone's natural beauty makes it slightly different. That's what makes it special.
Do you have sterling silver jewelry?

Yes! In addition to our 14K and 18K gold-filled jewelry, we also create beautiful pieces in sterling silver. All our sterling silver jewelry is high-quality, tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic, and nickel-free, making it perfect for sensitive skin and everyday wear.
Is HOPE & RAYE jewelry safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! Our 14K and 18K gold-filled jewelry and sterling silver pieces are ideal for sensitive skin. Both materials are hypoallergenic and nickel-free, which means they won't cause irritation, redness, or allergic reactions. We avoid cheap base metals and nickel alloys that commonly trigger skin sensitivities. If you have metal allergies, our gold-filled and sterling silver pieces are safe for daily wear and won't turn your skin green or tarnish.
