Each piece at Hope & Raye is thoughtfully handcrafted and individually made. Due to the artisanal nature of our process and the natural variation in gemstones, no two pieces are exactly alike. All designs are made to order.
We do not accept returns unless an item arrives with a craftsmanship issue or shipping damage.
Return Eligibility
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please email care@hopeandraye.com within 7 business days of delivery. To be eligible for review, the item must be:
- Unworn and in its original packaging
- Reported within 7 business days of delivery
- Accompanied by photo documentation of the issue
Please Note:
- Shipping costs are non-refundable
- Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged
- Custom and personalized pieces are final sale and not eligible for return or refund
- Production for custom designs begins immediately after payment — please double-check all details before placing your order
Repairs
We offer complimentary repairs for craftsmanship defects reported within 30 days of delivery (proof of purchase required).
Items must have been purchased directly from hopeandraye.com. Pieces purchased through third-party retailers are not eligible.
Paid repairs are available for normal wear and tear, with pricing determined on a case-by-case basis.
Customers are responsible for shipping items to us for all repairs.

Bespoke Services
Whether you’re seeking a variation of one of our Signature pieces or dreaming up something uniquely your own, we offer bespoke design services for those moments that deserve more intention.
Custom options may include clasp upgrades (solid gold or gold-filled), custom necklace lengths, stone substitutions, or bulk gifting for weddings and special events.
All custom requests are reviewed individually and priced on a case-by-case basis. We’ll respond with availability, a quote, and an estimated shipping timeline.

What is a Bespoke Order?
Bespoke orders are custom jewelry designs tailored to your unique vision. Custom orders begin at $250, with final pricing based on gemstone selection, materials, size, and design complexity. A non-refundable $75 custom service fee is required to begin the process.
How does the Bespoke process work?
To begin, email bespoke@hopeandraye.com with your custom request. Include a description of your vision, any inspiration, and important details. We’ll respond within 2–3 business days (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM ET) and let you know if we’re able to create your design or alter an existing one. If accepted, you’ll receive a quote and invoice for the $75 custom service fee (or $75 alteration fee). Once paid, we begin layout, design preparation, and gemstone sourcing. No production will begin until final pricing is confirmed and paid in full. Orders typically ship within 2–4 weeks of design approval.
What if I want minor alterations to an existing design?
For changes such as swapping a gemstone or adjusting necklace length—even for one of equal value—we offer a flat $75 alteration fee. This fee covers the time, care, and craftsmanship required to rework layouts, reset stones, and finalize the updated design. All alteration requests are subject to review and approval, and the fee is non-refundable and must be paid in advance.
Are there options for substitutions?
Yes. You can request substitutions, such as replacing peacock pearls with white pearls or other stones (like black tourmaline, smoky quartz, lapis, etc.) or swapping gold-filled components for sterling silver. All such custom requests are available for an additional charge and are handled individually through the Bespoke section.
How do I know if my custom request will be accepted?
Not all custom requests can be accommodated. We reserve the right to decline projects based on style alignment, sourcing limitations, or scheduling availability. We will always communicate honestly if a design isn’t feasible

Orders typically ship within 2–4 weeks after design approval; however, lead times may vary based on the complexity of the customization.
What does the $75 custom service fee cover?
This fee reserves your spot in our limited monthly custom schedule and covers the initial design consultation, layout, and gemstone sourcing. It is non-refundable and separate from any additional production or design costs.
Are Bespoke and custom orders refundable?
Custom and bespoke orders are final sale. All custom service fees and alteration fees are non-refundable.
